When the two teams had a meeting in mid June, we planned the weeks to come.
We wanted to release a final UP for 3.3.3a (UP31), a fulDDB and new UP for 3.3.5a (UP32) and a small updatepack right after that with as much 3.3.5a WDB data as possible and any random fix available (UP33).
I'd like to say: awesome work to both teams.
In late August 2009 TrinityDB was reborn when Brian came back.
We spent 3 months releasing nothing because we took extra time in planning our methods, goals and team structure for a long long long term project.
In late November we released the first Updatepack (UP21).
In 8 months we released 13 updatepacks.
We've had many Devs coming and going, allowing new people to step up and experience the Developer's role, never keeping our head stuck in the sand, always with an open mind, towards new Devs, towards ourr own data, users' or on the internet that can be good for TrinityDB standards.
After almost one year, I think we have proven to be a reliable, well structured team that is like a ship which will always sails, no matter who leaves, because new people can easily pick up from where others have left off. There is a solid structure.
Oh crap, boring as usual, I lost you at the second line of this post, haven't I?!?!?
Enjoy this UP, those who want play/play/play might be disappointed, but like I said, we wanted to get WDB data in as quick as possible.
